Ghana’s Tourism Authority (GTA) is spearheading the maximization of the city’s eco-tourism potentials with the development of the Marine Drive in Accra city center.

The Project is a $1.2 Billion Private-Public-Partnership drive to be funded by the World Bank with a projected completion period of 2027 and 15,000 employment opportunities Marine Drive is a breathtaking tourism development on approximately 240 Acres of the city’s center beachfront land stretching from the Osu Castle to the Accra Arts center.Marine Drive will transform Accra’s city skyline into the  epicenter of business and commerce, tourist accommodations, luxury offices and residential accommodations, restaurants, malls, National concert hall, National museum, leisure spaces and parks, cinemas and other attractions to promote tourism development and the national economy.
