Ghana is today celebrating her 62nd Independence Anniversary.
Proudly reverred as the pride of Pan African liberation from colonialisation and a beacon of democratic stability on the continent
Ghana’s independemce was the first in sub-sahara Africa and a catalyst for igniting the call for freedom by several other African countries.
The “Big Six” leaders of Ghana, namely Kwame Nkrumah, Obestsebi-Lamptey, Dr. Ako-Adjei, Edward Akuffo Addo, J.B Danquah, and William Ofori Atta in 1947 formed United Gold Coast Convention which championed the campaign for the eventual independence from colonisation on March 6th, 1957.
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE GHANA
