The Iconic African Renaissance Monument is a 49-meter tall bronze statue constructed on top of a 100 meter high twins hills  called Collines des Mamelles in Ouakam suburb of Dakar, Senegal

The monument is the tallest statue on the African continent and was conceived by then President Abduoulaye Wade to herald a new era of African Renaissance and was unveiled on 3rd April 2010.
